My five octave clavichord after Schiedmeyer in "fumed" English Oak - 2014

This remarkably beautiful clavichord is signed  Rutkowski & Robinette, New York - 1963

I would be glad to build an instrument for you of similar design. While the use of tortoise shell is prohibited (for good reason),  I have a high quality replacement. I also have some of the finest antique veneer just waiting for the right clavichord. Of course looks aren't everything. You can be assured that my clavichords are of the finest sounding and playing instruments available anywhere.
